Artist's Statement
I wanted to try to live in accord with the promptings which came from my true self. Why was that so very difficult? ~Hermann HesseCreating art serves as a form of meditation. It is during this time when my subconscious opens up and I lose myself in color, line, and form. The result is a record of the hidden truth of myself, even if it is so for a brief moment in time. It is my spiritual relationship with nature, which drives me to create art as a means to understand and make sense of my role in life. Art is my conduit to express my spirituality and innermost feelings of my relationships with people and my experiences living in this world.
